A[RT]action to najnowsza prezentacja dokonań oraz metod twórczych, zrealizowanych i wypracowanych przez artystkę wizualną – Edytę Dzierż, będących w istocie próbą nawiązania dialogu z odbiorcą na dwóch płaszczyznach: malarskiej i performance’u.
W pierwszym przypadku dokonania te obejmują obrazy powstałe na przestrzeni ostatnich trzech lat.
Artystka czerpiąc inspirację z natury przeniosła w sferę malarskiej materii swój wewnętrzny obraz-pejzaż. Własną jego interpretację. W swych zabiegach daleka jest jednak od realizmu. Bo choć punktem wyjścia dla niej jest rzeczywistość, odstępuje od wiernego jej naśladowania i podąża w kierunku abstrakcji. W osobistej wizji zakłada bowiem zespolenie sensualnych doświadczeń, jak i duchowych oraz emocjonalnych przeżyć im towarzyszących. I w każdej ze swoich prac utrwala krajobraz, przedstawienia mniej lub bardziej rozległych przestrzeni. Czasami zdarza się, że jest on bardziej zbliżony do rzeczywistości, a niekiedy trudniej poddaje się identyfikacji, zredukowany do ledwo wyczuwalnych form, zgeometryzowanych bądź odznaczających się biomorficzną proweniencją. Bogactwo tych zmysłowych doznań, ekspresji form i walorów sprawia, że podstawowym środkiem wyrazu w jej realizacjach jest kolor i traktowana z nim na równi faktura. To za ich pomocą artystka osiąga niepowtarzalne efekty, zwłaszcza na powierzchni obrazu przypominającego żywą, organiczną tkankę. Co podyktowane jest faktem, że zafascynowana technikami ściennymi tworzy swoje malarskie reliefy z wykorzystywaniem naturalnych składników.
Częstym motywem pojawiającym się w jej realizacjach są wiry, kadry wspomnień głęboko zakodowanych w pokładach pamięci lub projekcje wypływające
wprost z emocjonalnej sfery. Zawsze jednak ten rytm kształtów, uwydatnionych barwą w trójwymiarowej strukturze faktury, w mniejszym lub większym
stopniu, budzi pierwotne, instynktowne skojarzenia. Porusza zmysły i emocje. Na tyle, że zazwyczaj możliwe staje się uchwycenie syntezy rozległego
pejzażu lub pojedynczych elementów, zaczerpniętych z otaczającej przestrzeni. W każdym razie widz obcując z tymi realizacjami wkracza w przestrzeń
zarezerwowaną dotychczas tylko dla artystki.
Ale jeszcze silniej przekracza tę granicę podczas „live painting”. W ramach A[RT]action przewidziana jest prezentacja indywidualnej metody wyrazu
wypracowanej przez autorkę, która już od wielu lat w swoich aspiracjach twórczych poszukuje związków między malarstwem/obrazem, dźwiękiem
oraz światłem. Stąd tak bardzo bliskie stało się jej pojęcie synestezji, dla której właściwym i jedynym narzędziem konkretyzacji okazał się performance
umożliwiający łączenie różnych środków: plastycznych, teatralnych i dźwiękowych. Artystka jednak niezmiennie rozszerza znaczenie tego pojęcia.
Performance zwykle rozumiany jest jako występ artysty przed publicznością. I w istocie każdy pokaz Edyty Dzierż jest pewnego rodzaju spektaklem,
w którym widzowie stają się uczestnikami, świadkami jej procesu malarskiego. Tutaj jednak równie istotne jest także samo spotkanie z odbiorcą,
obopólne zaangażowanie stron, odkrywanie indywidualnych bądź wspólnych emocji, wymiana energii oraz inspiracji. Dzięki czemu Sztuka jest bardziej
zbliża się do Widza i na odwrót. Zachodzi ścisła symbioza.

A[RT]action is the latest presentation of achievements and creative methods, realized and developed by the visual artist - Edyta Dzierż, which are in fact an attempt to establish a dialogue with the recipient on two levels: painting and performance. In the first case, these achievements include images created over the past three years.
Drawing inspiration from nature, the artist transferred her inner image-landscape into the sphere of painting matter. His own interpretation. However, he is far from being realistic in his endeavors. For although the starting point for it is reality, it deviates from its faithful imitation and goes towards abstraction. In a personal vision, it assumes the fusion of sensual experiences as well as spiritual and emotional experiences accompanying them. And in each of his workscaptures the landscape, representations of more or less extensive spaces. Sometimes it is moreclose to reality, and sometimes more difficult to identify, reduced to barely perceptible forms, geometrized or characterized by biomorphic provenance. The wealth of these sensual experiences, expression of forms and values makes color and treatment the basic means of expression in her realizationsinvoice on an equal footing with him. It is with their help that the artist achieves unique effects, especially on the surface of a picture resembling a living, organic tissue. What is dictated by the fact that, fascinated by wall techniques, she creates her painterly reliefs with the use of natural ingredients.
Vortices, frames of memories deeply encoded in the layers of memory, or projections flowing from straight from the emotional sphere. Always, however, this rhythm of shapes, highlighted by color in the three-dimensional structure of the texture, to a greater or lesser degree to a degree, it evokes primal, instinctive associations. It moves the senses and emotions. So much so that it usually becomes possible to capture the vast synthesis landscape or individual elements taken from the surrounding space. In any case, the viewer, interacting with these productions, enters the space so far reserved only for the artist.
But she crosses this border even more during "live painting". Within A [RT] action the presentation of an individual method of expression is planned developed by the author who has been looking for connections between painting / image and sound in her creative aspirations for many years and light. Hence, the concept of synesthesia has become so close to her, for which performance turned out to be the proper and only tool for concretization. enabling the combination of various means: artistic, theatrical and sound. The artist, however, invariably expands the meaning of this concept.
A performance is usually understood as an artist's performance in front of an audience. And in fact, each performance by Edyta Dzierż is a kind of spectacle, in which viewers become participants, witnesses of her painting process. Here, however, the very meeting with the recipient is also important, mutual commitment of the parties, discovering individual or shared emotions, exchange of energy and inspiration. What makes Art more it approaches the Viewer and vice versa. There is a strict symbiosis.
